Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th is known for bad luck, and revengeful serial killers coming to your cabin as you take a shower. Hopefully none of those happen to you. However, if you watch the original Friday the 13th movie, ( made in 1980) it has a very late 70's fashion trend of casual and cute. Check out how to re- create those looks with a modern twist.

While Alice Hardy had on a mens button up tucked into high wasted jeans, I opted for a more modern button up, sleeveless with a nice design, the jeans are dark and a lower waist line, the shoes have a very 70's vibe as well as the earrings.
Top - Miss Selfridge
Dark skinny jeans- Awear
Brown strappy clog heels - Charles David
Brown woven belt - Awear
Jeweled earrings - Neiman Marcus.

Even though the the second outfit is based of a boys outfit, I still made it cute and wearable for a girl. I did a spin on stealing your boyfriends clothes. With white shorts, a girls jersey top and an oversized boyfriend watch.
Top - Shop the Trend Boutique
Shorts - Old Navy
Shoes - Converse
Watch - Asos

The third look, is a rustic look, with the same color scheme of the characters. The cropped top is more modern and the pants are a bit lighter and more wearable!
Top - General Pants
Tan bottoms - Republic
Sandals - H&M
Bracelet - Dorothy Perkins
Enjoy, and don't take a shower if a serial killer is near by...
